These shoes were very comfortable, but yes they are slippery on wet smooth surfaces I now have mileage on the Oboz and they are my go to shoes for half day field trips If you are planning on rock climbing, there are specific shoes that you can buy with soft, almost gum rubber surfaces that will best suit your needs
